Communications Manager, A Better Chicago

Demetrius Amparan joined A Better Chicago in 2016 and is responsible for the planning and execution of all aspects of the organization’s communications strategy.  Prior to joining A Better Chicago, Amparan served as the director of publications and marketing communications for Young Chicago Authors.  Earlier in his career, he led the undergraduate division of Valparaiso University’s integrated marketing and communications department. Amparan has a BA in communications and public relations and sociology from Valparaiso University.
