Greg S. Garrett oversees GAIN’s innovative financing, food fortification and urban nutrition portfolio supporting governments and over 1000 agri-food SMEs improve access to nutritious foods, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Before joining GAIN in 2011, Garrett spent a decade in management roles at for-profit development agencies designing and delivering public health and nutrition initiatives in Asia and Africa. Garrett is on the board of the Iodine Global Network and on the executive management team of the Food Fortification Initiative. Greg holds a BA and an MSc from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom.
