Anna Fälth is the manager of UN Women’s EmpowerWomen.org. Fälth helped to launch Empower Women in September 2013, during the high-level meetings at the UN General Assembly. She is working to conceptualize a virtual skills school and is leading UN Women’s work on the Women’s Empowerment Principles. Fälth has over seventeen years of experience working on women’s economic empowerment issues, and started her career in the refugee and immigration service in Sweden. She joined the United Nations system in 1998, and has since then held economic advisor positions in UNCTAD, UNDP, UN-DESA and now in UN Women. Fälth holds a MS from Lund University, Sweden, and an EMLE from Hamburg University, Germany.
